25. MATTHEW4 CAIN (JOHN FRANCIS MARION3, JAMES J.2, JOHN MANNING1) was born January 02, 1875 in Gwinnett Co. Ga., and died July 22, 1930 in Gwinnett Co. Ga. Buried Luxomni Baptist Ch, Lilburn, Ga. He married ORA BELLE DUNCAN August 19, 1893 in Gwinnett Co. Ga.  See Matthew Cain's obituary in the Gainesville Eagle, Gainesville, Ga. It   appeared several days after his death. Information on this family came from his son, Frank Cain, during a personal visit with him on 18 July 1978 at his home.He was a farmer.

He married FLORA DEAN SLOAN November 27, 1924, daughter of SANFORD SLOAN and VICTORIA MADDOX.   Flora was born August 4, 1906 and passed away August 5, 1998. She lived in Auburn, Gwinnett Co. Ga.   They lived in Auburn, Ga.

34. CALVIN MARION5 CAIN (LUKE ERVIN4, JOHN FRANCIS MARION3, JAMES J.2, JOHN MANNING1) was born June 12, 1891 in Gwinnett Co. Ga., and died October 30, 1946 in Gwinnett Co. Ga.. He married MAGGIE OLA ELIZABETH JORDAN April 29, 1923 in Gwinnett Co. Ga. Calvin and Maggie are buried in Luxomni Bapt. Cemetery, and were members of the Church there.  He was a farmer, and taught school in his early years.  Calvin was in the Navy during World War I and served on the same ships and in the same unit as his brother, John Rufus Cain.  Calvin lived near the railroad tracks and the Gloster railroad Station. His home set on a hill overlooking the railroad tracks.  Maggie, Calvin, and family below.

ii.   FRANCES ANNETTE CAIN, b. September 18, 1925, Gwinnett Co. Ga.; m. HERMAN OSCAR LEE, March 02, 1946, Gwinnett Co. Ga.  She was a beautician, and Herman is retired from General Motors.  They live in Lawrenceville, Ga.  My mother had this picture of Frances as a child.

GLADYS VALERIA MATTHEWS, March 28, 1948, Ga.   Occupation: Georgia Power Co, and lived in Tucker, DeKalb Co. Ga.  My mother had this picture of H.L. Cain as a child.  Below is a picture of H. L.'s mother, his  wife and children, some grandchildren in 1986.
